This pack is designed to give you a clear and engaging overview of the place, using available historic maps, archive photographs, directories, newspaper references, planning records and local history sources where relevant. It will usually look at how the site has changed over time, what stood there before, former uses, past occupiers, and the wider context of the surrounding area.

Ideal for private interest, internal use, websites, newsletters, staff information, visitor material or as a starting point for further work.

Secure your project with a £295 deposit.

This deposit can be used towards either our 12-page Research Pack or our 24-page In-depth Research Pack. You do not need to make your final package choice at this stage - we can agree the most appropriate option once we have discussed the project and begun to understand the extent of the story.

The £295 deposit will be deducted from the final project price. The remaining balance, together with any agreed additions, will be payable on completion and before the final files are supplied. We will send you a secure payment link for the correct amount.

Once your deposit has been received, we will contact you to confirm the project details, likely timescale and next steps.

Format and what’s included

The 12-page research pack provides 12 pages of main content, arranged as six double-page spreads, plus a separate front and back cover.

The content combines written research with archive photographs, maps, newspaper cuttings and other relevant visual material. The layout will be shaped by what the research uncovers: some spreads may contain a mixture of text and images, while others may feature a particularly strong photograph or document at a larger scale.

The back cover will include a discreet Produced by Your Place Revealed credit and relevant copyright information.

Dedicated additional features—such as Then & Now photography, historic map comparisons or timelines—are not included within the six standard spreads. These are added as extra double-page spreads, so they extend the pack rather than reduce the space available for the main story.

If the research uncovers considerably more material than can be presented effectively within 12 pages, we will discuss the option of adding further spreads before carrying out any additional work.

Each double-page spread can also be adapted into a separate landscape display piece. The standard 12-page pack could therefore provide material for up to six framed displays, with each additional spread creating another potential display.
